Judy L. Arfa, CPA graduated from University of Texas at Austin. Prior to opening her firm in 2009, she worked in both public accounting and private industry. Judy is a former tax manager for Accessory Lady in Dallas, a chain of 120 stores located throughout the country. These stores were sold in 1993. In addition, she was a manager at Gomez and Company, CPA's in Houston where she managed both tax preparation and audits of non-profit organizations. In past tax seasons, she has given workshops at the Houston Public Libraries, Leisure Learning, and the United Way of Greater Houston. Judy volunteers for Texas Accountants And Lawyers For The Arts where she has volunteered over 500 hours of her time helping with the establishment of newly formed non-profit entities. She has over six years of experience in this capacity.
